Easy Shrimp Cocktail

A perfect holiday appetizer recipe which looks fancy and not very expensive. I’ve found shrimp cocktail to be those universally loved appetizers and is undoubtedly the first thing to be gobbled up at parties.

The holidays are here and this recipe is perfect to start your holiday parties.

What you need to make Shrimp Cocktail

Serves: 4 Perp Time: 15 Mins Cook Time: 0

  • 1/2 lettuce
  • 10.5 oz. (330g) cold water shrimps, cooked
  • cayenne pepper, to garnish

For the sauce

  • 6 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. tomato ketchup
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Tabasco, to taste
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • salt and pepper

What you need to do…

  1. Place all the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl, season with salt and pepper and mix well.
  2. Divide the lettuce between 4 serving bowls, top with the shrimps and drizzle with the sauce. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and serve immediately.

Nutrition per serving: 225 kcal, 16g fats, 3g Carbs, 18g Protein

Note: You may use forzen or fresh shrimps instead of cooked ones, just boil them for couple of minutes and you are good to go.
